January Concert with Shri Tanveer Singh Sapra

Tanveer Singh Sapra is a Hindustani Classical Vocalist belonging to the Gwalior Gharana. He is the disciple of Vidushee Neela Bhagwat Ji, a renowned exponent of the Gharana. He has been obtaining his taleem from an age of 10 years. He has performed at many renowned venues in Bombay, Pune, Punjab and Karnataka.

Tanveer is also an able composer and has created his own bandishes, written and directed music for plays in Mumbai and Bangalore and composed music for ghazal and Sufi albums. Apart from classical singing he is also an able singer of Tappa, Thumri, Gurbani Sangeet, Ghazals, Sufi and many other genres. Tanveer is also learning the Dilruba, an ancient instrument of the Sikh Tradition of music.

Tanveer is currently working as a Data Scientist fo Wipro Technologies in Bangalore.
